Counseling & Coaching
Currently, I am offering both in-person and tele-therapy. Therapeutic counseling frameworks and modalities I draw from are Relational, Interpersonal, Family Systems, Gestalt, Attachment and CBT. Because each person or situation is unique, I use a variety of therapeutic methods.

In addition, I have experienced the 4-Gateways Coaching process as one of the most effective means to personal growth and transformation. In its holistic approach, the 4-Gateways is a powerful means to see things in our lives in new ways. Seeing things in a new ways results in new ways of thinking and being. Our transformed thoughts result in new ways of being and interacting with our world.

Intensives

Intensive consultations typically involve 3-4 hours of therapy over 1-5 days. Intensives are customized based on an individual’s needs and treatment goals. A variety of methods are utilized during this counseling including experiential processes, cognitive therapy, coaching and mindfulness experiences. It is recommended that throughout the intensive a client sets aside those days for the session times, meditation, homework activities and journaling exercises.
Therapeutic consultations are intense. They are only recommended for those who have a broad support system and are involved in regular on-going therapy. Intensives are suited for individuals who are advanced in their process and perhaps in need of a deeper understanding of their issues. They are also used for those needing assistance in pushing through their own resistance or obstacles in their current therapy.
My Approach
A few of the professional and personal frameworks that guide my counseling approach include:

Wholeness of Being: An inseparable connection exists between our Body, Mind, Spirit and Emotions. When we are off-balance or suffering in one area of our lives, it affects all other areas. When one area of our life is transformed or changed, it brings healing to other areas.

Strengths-Based Focus: Every person is unique and possesses the resiliency, strength and wisdom they need for healing. Sometimes we get stuck or feel paralyzed in making the shifts we know we need to make -- but we have within ourselves the strength and will to make life-giving choices.
Relational Connectedness: We were created for deep, intimate relationships. We long to belong. Many of our wounds are a result of being hurt by others. We are wounded in relationships and we are healed through relationships. As we grow in our self-awareness and increase our vulnerability with others, we can make healthy attachments resulting in wholeness and healing.
